Nuestro centro está participando en la segunda edición del proyecto Penpal, a través del cuál hemos entrado en contacto con el alumnado de 2º de ESO del IES Sierra de Montánchez, de la localidad cacereña de Montánchez.
Los alumnos y alumnas de 2ºA de nuestro centro ya han recibido sus primeras cartas. Gracias a este proyecto se potencia la expresión escrita en inglés además de ser un aliciente para conocer á otros chicos y chicas.
El pasado viernes, 31 de octubre, celebramos una jornada especial de Halloween que transformó la rutina de nuestro centro.
Bajo la iniciativa del Departamento de Inglés y la fantástica colaboración del alumnado de DIVER, el centro se convirtió en un ambiente terroríficamente divertido y espeluznante.

Tanto estudiantes como personal docente disfrutaron plenamente de esta experiencia, que fomenta la inmersión cultural y el trabajo en equipo.
At our high school, the English Department organized a Halloween-themed activity: a spooky food contest!
Students were invited to prepare a dish -either sweet or savory- with a Halloween theme and a frightening appearance. Alongisde their creations, students were required to bring the recipe written in English, giving them a chance to practice language skills while showcasing their creativity in the kitchen.
Participants could work individually or in groups of up to four. The contest offered three distinct prizes: one for the tastiest dish, another one for the most original presentation, and a third one for the best individual creation.
This activity has been incredibly rewarding for us, as we witnessed enthusiastic participation and dedication from our students. We are very grateful and thrilled to have organized this event and to haven seen the students enjoy and share their terrifyingly creative dishes with everyone.
